You’re already carrying a lot. Between your own career, your family and everything else on your plate, trying to coordinate care for an ageing parent can feel like taking on a second full-time job.
Our team of private occupational therapists comes to you with a clear assessment, practical recommendations, and the hands-on support to put them into action, so you can get back to doing the things that matter to you.
We offer four services designed to keep you living well at home, delivered by an experienced team who genuinely cares about getting it right.
$1,050 (including GST)
A 1.5 hour home visit from one of our experienced OTs, travelling to you within a 30-minute radius of Brisbane. A detailed report with clear recommendations will be emailed to you within days of your visit.
Those who know there are challenges at home but aren't sure where to start. Whether you’re struggling with managing meals, getting off the toilet or lounge, the stairs, getting in and out of the shower, or keeping up with day-to-day tasks around the home, our team of private occupational therapists assess what's getting in the way and give you a clear path forward.
You can act on the recommendations yourselves or let us take care of it for you. Our support ranges from sourcing equipment and arranging modifications to connecting you with other trusted professionals in our network, including financial planners, wills and estates planners, aged care navigators, and downsizing services.
We will always help with referring people for government assistance as part of this process. We specifically offer timely support within days, not weeks.
Everything in the Express Initial Assessment Package, PLUS a second layer of expert review. This extra set of experienced eyes on your situation means better recommendations and greater peace of mind. We then come back to your home with a printed copy of the report and morning tea, and sit down with you to walk through every recommendation and next step, one by one.
From there, you can choose to go it alone with your report in hand or engage us to move forward with an agreed body of work, quoted separately once we know the full scope.
Assessments and Reports:
Clients who fall between the cracks of government funded systems, need an independent assessment for personal or legal purposes, or simply want timely, expert support without the wait. This service is also well suited to those who don't meet criteria for insurance or government schemes but still need professional OT care.
Adults who need occupational therapy support but fall between the cracks of government funded systems, need an independent assessment for personal or legal purposes, or simply want timely, expert support without the wait. This service is also well suited to those who don't meet criteria for insurance or government schemes but still need professional OT care.
Once your assessment or report is complete, you'll have a clear picture of next steps. From there, you can choose to engage us for ongoing therapy or rehabilitation, quoted either per hour or as a block of sessions, depending on what suits your needs and goals
$117.32/hr for all services including travel to you | Mileage: $1/km from Coorparoo, Brisbane (return)
Hands-on, practical support from a trained therapy assistant, working under the supervision of your OT and always focused on building your capacity rather than stepping in to do things for you. Our TAs will make phone calls, chase quotes, keep you updated, work alongside you on tasks, and coach independence.
Those who have completed an initial assessment with an OT and are ready to put the recommendations into practice. This might look like support with batch meal prepping, online grocery shopping, setting up a calendar with reminders, or practising the skills you've been working on with your OT.
Therapy assistant support is recommended as part of many of our assessment reports and works best as an ongoing complement to your OT's program. Because our TAs operate under OT supervision, an OT must always be involved, and together, they're a powerful team.
The best time to plan for the future is before something unexpected happens.
Many of our clients contact us because they want to stay living in the home they love for as long as possible. A proactive assessment by a private occupational therapist can identify simple changes that make everyday life easier today while reducing the likelihood of bigger challenges in the future.
Think of it as future-proofing your home and your lifestyle.
Our role is to help you continue living the life you want.
That might include:
No two assessments are the same because no two people are the same.
Not at all.
Our favourite clients are the ones who plan ahead.
Small changes made early often prevent bigger problems later, giving you more choice, confidence, and control over your future.
Absolutely.
Our assessment is about much more than home safety.
We’ll discuss the things many people don’t know when to start thinking about, including:
You don’t need to have all the answers to get started. We’ll help you understand your options and connect you with trusted professionals where needed.
As this is a private service, any equipment, furniture or home modifications are generally purchased by you.
Our role is to help you invest wisely by recommending solutions that suit your needs now and into the future.
Sometimes a small investment today can help avoid much larger costs later.

Yes.
Many people choose to address immediate priorities privately while planning ahead for future government support.
We’ll explain what may be worth doing now and what could potentially be funded later through programs such as Support at Home or, where eligible, the Medical Aids Subsidy Scheme (MASS).
We can also help prepare supporting information if you later apply for government-funded services.
Absolutely.
Many of our clients choose private occupational therapy because they value timely access, personalised advice and the ability to make decisions without waiting months for assessments or funding.
No.
We don’t sell equipment and we don’t receive commissions from suppliers.
We’ll recommend solutions that suit your goals, home and lifestyle, and you’re free to purchase them from whichever supplier you choose.
We’ll either email it to you (express) or return to your home to go through your recommendations together.
We’ll help you prioritise what to do first, answer your questions and discuss your options moving forward.
Some people prefer to implement the recommendations themselves, while others ask us to coordinate everything for them.
The choice is entirely yours.
Because growing older shouldn’t mean giving up the life you love.
Our approach looks beyond your diagnosis or your home. We consider you, your environment, and the activities that give your life meaning.
Whether that’s enjoying your morning coffee on the patio, hosting family dinners, tending to your garden, or continuing your weekly golf game, our goal is to help you keep doing what matters most.
We don’t simply assess homes – we help you plan confidently for the next chapter of life.
That’s exactly why we’re here.
You don’t need to know what equipment to buy, whether you need home modifications, or what your future should look like.
You simply need to know that you’d like to stay living well in the home you love.
We’ll help you understand your options, prioritise what matters most, and create a practical plan so you can move forward with confidence.
