Our service

Insurance Schemes —
OT Rehabilitation & Assistive Technology

Funding:

Fees for insurance scheme clients are set and covered by your scheme, so there are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible participants. We work with:

Includes:

Occupational therapy, rehabilitation, and assistive technology support for people living with catastrophic injuries, brain injuries, or neurological conditions. We work as part of your broader care team, supporting your gradual integration back into your home, your community, and your everyday life.

Ideal for:

Those who are funded through NIIS, TAC, or iCare and are looking for experienced, dedicated OT support in their home and community. Many of our insurance scheme clients have been with us for years, and that long-term relationship is something we take seriously.

How it works:

Your scheme will refer you to us directly. From there, we work closely with your insurer and care team to get approval in place and support underway as smoothly as possible.

Ideal for:

Clients who fall between the cracks of government funded systems, need an independent assessment for personal or legal purposes, or simply want timely, expert support without the wait. This service is also well suited to those who don't meet criteria for insurance or government schemes but still need professional OT care.

Following the assessment:

Once your occupational therapy assessment or report is complete, you'll have a clear picture of next steps. From there, you can choose to engage us for ongoing therapy or rehabilitation, quoted either per hour or as a block of sessions, depending on what suits your needs and goals.

Our service

Therapy Assistant Support

Funding:

$117.32/hr for all services | Mileage: $1/km from Coorparoo, Brisbane (return)

Includes:

Hands-on, practical support from a trained therapy assistant, working under the supervision of your OT and always focused on building your capacity rather than stepping in to do things for you. Our TAs will make phone calls, chase quotes, keep you updated, work alongside you on tasks, and coach independence.

Ideal for:

Those who have completed an occupational therapy initial assessment and are ready to put the recommendations into practice. This might look like support with batch meal prepping, online grocery shopping, setting up a calendar with reminders, or practising the skills you've been working on with your OT.

Following the assessment:

Therapy assistant support is recommended as part of many of our assessment reports and works best as an ongoing complement to your OT's program. Because our TAs operate under OT supervision, an OT must always be involved, and together, they're a powerful team.

Please contact us to discuss your location and how we may be able to help.
